They make MD legal configurations.Lol go to the Del Ton website and they claim this is illegal to sell in Maryland. Don't any of these manufacturers research law?

That would be me! I saw this and it’s a very attractive price. I ended up increasing my price point a little and started looking at different parts to put together one with Aero Precision BLEM upper and lower. I figured after taxes, FFL fees and all I’ll end up spending around ~$550 out the door for a stripper spec rifle so why not increase the budget to something close to 650-700 and get a solid BCG and trigger. I think I have all the tools needed to put one together just looking at different parts and seeing what I want.Where's that guy asking to build or buy first AR? This is his answer I think.
Did not intend to purchase a firearm this year but may come to visit you, these are of course heavy barrels and 10 rnd mags?I was able to score a nice deal on these and so I brought a bunch in and I am now passing that savings along. I have been selling this exact same rifle for many years and I have seen the price fluctuate from $900 (COVID price) to what they are now. Just last week this rifle was $569 and that was a good deal. Once these are gone they will go back to around that price I am sure.
Overall it is a solid rifle. Is it a Colt? No. Is it a LWRC? No. So please do not compare it to those. But what it is, is a solid budget rifle at an outstanding price point.

Good point anyone who has one in this thread can attest to 1 MOA accuracy at 100 yards?Del Ton makes the best entry level AR's.
This is a sub $500 AR that will run. No, it (likely) isn't going to be sub MOA, but they are reliable and a great choice for someone who wants to get their feet wet.
Nice trigger will put you around 600at $439 for the whole AR, to make it feel better/premium wouldn't this be cheaper for someone to just upgrade the trigger to one of those midrange drop in triggers, a nice grip and possibly a fancy charge handle and you have a sweet AR still under 600?
I was thinking something like Rise Armament RAVE 140 Drop-in Trigger that can be had for ~100 when on sale and then use rest for something else or just drop the trigger in and call it a day. I'm sure the trigger upgrade would make it feel much nicer.Nice trigger will put you around 600
Who cares about the grip and CH though. Honestly what do they gain you besides bling?

What about an ALG ACT and a set of JP springs? Out the door with shipping $100.I was thinking something like Rise Armament RAVE 140 Drop-in Trigger that can be had for ~100 when on sale and then use rest for something else or just drop the trigger in and call it a day. Cash & Carry? Sorry I’m not up to date with the latest infringements.
You still don't need an HQL or anything like that for a long gun either, right?Yes. All long guns are either cash and carry, or banned.
In 2013 the list of 'regulated' long guns that required a 7 day wait was turned into a banned list.
The HBAR was an exception, so it was cash and carry with a NICS check then, and still is now.
