No. Ammo will simply burn and 'poof' one round at a time. Like popcorn.Ammo in a safe is not wise.
Think pressure cooker in a fire.
I don't know of any safe that would hold thousands of pounds of pressure, before failing explosively.

Powder in containers would be a bad idea in a safe though. Most decent safes are designed for seals to close up under high heat. Will it contain thousands of pounds of pressure before the seals failed? Nope. But it very well might hold the pressure sufficiently long enough and high enough to restrain the combustion event sufficiently to allow the powder to combust faster and reached a detonation event, or at least a conflagration sufficient to cause rapid disassembly of the entire safe.No. Ammo will simply burn and 'poof' one round at a time. Agreed, depending on the container. Plastic will melt quickly and eliminate any pressure. Metal cans - seams will probably fail before any detonation.Powder in containers would be a bad idea in a safe though.
What about one for the dead bodies?Get 1 for guns. Another for ammo. Like the others have said, plan to outgrow.
You're thinking of the boat safe. What about one for the dead bodies?
