Sanners lake in Lexington Park does.I live down in Calvert County.
When I was a member there. Any thing listed on the calendar as a competition is open to the public. Non members pay a few dollars more than members. Hopefully one of the current members can let you know if it still the same.Do you have too be a member to shoot
DaveP,Been almost all "egg matches" last few years. I prefer the traditional targets/ rules.
Think the current match caters to folks who like high scores
A Rimfire (also called small bore) Silhouette Match consists of shooting a total of 40 steel silhouette targets at various distances using a scoped rimfire rifle. Traditionally the match is shot in the standing position at different size animal silhouettes at 40, 60, 77, and 100 meters. Lately at Sanners we've been running a non-traditional "steel egg challenge" where the animal targets are replaced with small steel egg-shaped targets which are shot at from a seated position.DaveP,
Any pics of what an "egg match" target looks like? I am trying to get the picture.
