yea I can see that, Just debating it lolExtended pads are important for many competition shooters because it allows for a better mag seating on a mag change. They don't fit flush so that your palm doesn't have to go flush to the mag well.

I have had to put stronger springs in their 1911 mags to make them work. It doesn't pay if you have to buy both. Buy Chip McCormick mags when they are on sale.
Dang, I just don't keep up with the changes since I am not active anymore.Chip McCormick sold his business to Wilson Combat so he could retire. Word was Bill Wilson wanted the rights to McCormick’s follower design.
yea at this point its gonna take a while to get 4-5 10 rounders, but gotta pay to play so they say. I do love this platform lol. Plus when I visit my parents at least it's legal to have fully loaded (RI and their mag cap bans)Tripp Research mags are well made and very reliable. Not really any cheaper than WC, but a quality alternative.
Good for you!Now I did order this, until this thread I didnt even think of replacing the guts of the magazine. My kimber mag is just weak and wont lock back, this should fix that and bam! 10rd mag for $8
Great news. Now get better and get outside!WC spring kit came in, man that kimber spring was worn out, it was half the size! no wonder it didnt work well. Cycled through and locked back on snapcaps, now i need some time to take it to the range, just need to get 3-4 more for competitions. But hey, $8 sure as hell beats $50 for a 10 rd mag
I have a few 32 round 9mm (Colt) Promags I use in my 9mm SBR. Never had a problem with them, though their reputation has always been 'hit or miss'.
I do remember buying a bunch of Korean made 30 round AR mags from that site for around 10 bucks a pop. They turned out to be almost complete garbage. After replacing the followers(the biggest problem with them) and and the aluminum floor plates with real steel ones, the mags actually work now, but remain only range worthy.I thought that’s what the ones I ordered a few “testers” of via CDNN and which, after some live-fire t&e in our Colt AR-9, impressed us so much we wound up ordering dozens more but, turns out they are Dura-Mags (slicker’n snot!)
