      CMP 3x600

Who has experience in the CMP 3x600? It appears that the F Open category allows for essentially any rifle, if I understand correctly. But do I? Up to .35 cal, up to 22 lbs, I assume no muzzle brakes, but are there any other limitations?

Out of state transfer from individual

Which FFL in central MD will accept a long gun transfer from an individual? I got told no by one already. Don't get why not. Is it a law? Excuse my ignorance. A forum search didn't turn up any useful info.

      CMP Vintage Military

Anyone here with experience doing Vintage Military matches with CMP. I'm looking to get some first-hand info on how to best prepare. The practicing part I've pretty much got down, but often times there are questions that one doesn't think to ask when embarking on something new.

      Saxton SxS 12 gauge

I just won an auction for a Saxton 12 ga SxS that the auctioneer says is Belgian. I'm finding more info on English/Birmingham damascus barrel (English twist) guns that people say can't handle modern ammo. This gun is more of a "base model" and the steel looks like plain old steel (not sure...

      Fiberglass stock inletting

I was thinking of getting a fiberglass stock for my Finnbear but no one makes one anymore. McMillan stopped inletting for them, but will sell a flat top stock. They referred me to a place in CO that says they'll inlet, pillar and glass bed, and basic paint for $750. Told them thanks but no...

      Calling M1917 Enfield owners

I have a request for anyone in the general vicinity of Howard county. If you own an M1917, could I bother you to let me try the bolt in my P14 action? This is a sporterized gun chambered in 257 weatherby. Why they chose this platform, I have no idea. The 303 mag is way too short for any...

      Identify this magazine?

I bought a sporterized P17 Enfield a few months ago chambered in 257 Wby Mag. The magazine does not seem to be original, and won't even allow factory 100gr rounds to fit. It does fit nicely into the floor plate/trigger guard, which has been flattened. I have a stock floor plate/guard as well...

      Old powder vs velocity

So I recently got my hands on some 7828 from when it was still Dupont. Cans sealed still. Opened one and everything smelled normal. Smells like my brand new double-base, as far as I can tell. Did a ladder test to find optimum velocity and velocities were WELL lower than the book. Max charge...

      Welder needed - auto body

Anyone here good at welding sheet metal? I'm fixing floor rust and it's slow going for me since I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Have a couple of jobs now and likely many in the future since I'm a classic Mercedes shop owner and people are constantly asking me. Hit me up!

      FL resize of 257 Wby

Hey all. I'm new to reloading, so I'm still calibrating my expectations. I've resized a couple of different calibers so far with no real issues (once I knew what I was looking for). Fast forward to a lot of "once fired" 257 Weatherby mag brass I bought, a mixed lot of Norma and Weatherby...
