In the world of competition, 40S&W is a USPSA "major" round, so has the more favorable "major" power factor scoring (unlike 9mm, which scores "minor".)

Keep in mind, 25 of the 50 states are already Constitutional carry. I moved to New Hampshire, which is Constitutional carry, as is neighboring states Vermont and Maine. The only state that isn't is Massachusetts, and they are issuing non-resident permits, now. I just mailed in my application...
When they're dragged back in to court, kicking and screaming. Make no mistake: frosh will not take this defeat quietly. I won't be surprised if more restrictive laws are on there way.
I haven't been around in a while. I thought I'd share my most recent 22LR purchases.
A left-handed 10/22 with a U.S. Optics 1.8-10x and a Bergara 14r with a Trigger Tech Diamond trigger and Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56mm
The Bergaras are designed to accept all Remington 700 pattern rifles, so all accessories (stocks, triggers, scope bases, etc.) fit the B14R. Here's my new lefty. I have a Trigger Tech Diamond trigger on it's way to replace the factory trigger.
The base is a 30MoA Badger Ordnance with Seekins...
That was my first thought- why not gunbroker? Probably just didn't want to mess with it. I was a little surprised that someone else didn't buy it to put on GB to make a few hundred on it. Oh well, my win. I'll take it.
Thanks, I'm really happy with it. It's my new turkey and general purpose shotgun.
I've already ordered a +6 Nordic Components extension (flush to the end of the barrel) and an over-sized titanium handle for it.
I was at my LGS on Saturday. I frequent the place, so wasn't surprised when I saw the same shotgun I've been drooling over for the last two years: a left-handed Benelli Super Black Eagle II with a 24" barrel. The 24" lefties are kind of rare, as they weren't big sellers. He marked it down to...
I used to be a "never plastic, never striker-fired guy". Then I started carrying every day.
Don't get me wrong: I still think 1911s are the best shooting guns out there (triggers are hard to beat), but I'd rather have 22 rounds of "light weight, accurate, & pretty good trigger" over 8 rounds...
I'm relatively new to the pistol red dot game.
On a whim, I picked up a Sig Sauer Xcarry, which comes pre-milled for their Romeo1 red dot; I thought it would be a great defensive CCW pistol. I wanted a red dot that would be durable enough for carry and a long battery life, so I went with a...
Hope you're not in a hurry for it. My VP-9 has been waiting for work since March and they just started on it this week (they called to let me know the release retaining clip was broken and it would cost an extra $5. )
Their wait times are notoriously long because their work is...
Reliability? Benelli M2, hands down.
I had an FN SLP for a few seasons, but couldn't take the lack of reliability. Soft shooter, but just not reliable.
Sorry to hear about your continuing issues. Nothing's more aggravating than a 9mm AR that won't run.
For mine, it's magazines. I have a handful that will work reliably and a bunch that won't.
