Yep, primarily for the Type 99 rifle with some rimmed/semi rimmed varieties being used in Japanese machine guns like the Type 92.

So, the Graf & Sons 7.7 X 58 JAP was contract loaded by Hornady using PPU brass.

I wish PPU would just make the ammo. I love their 9mm mak ammo

They used to make it I thought like once a year.
Never saw it once I got my type 99 over a year and a half ago

Me too. If they made 6.5 and 7.7 Japanese and priced it as well as their other "surplus" calibers, they'd make bank. I don't know why they won't do it. Same thing with 7.35 Carcano

I guess one problem with that would be that it might make the price of Arisaka's go up...one of the big reasons I see as to why people don't like them is due to the ammo being hard to find and expensive

"sometimes" there is a guy at the HoCo show that brings reloads.
I do know that if enough people asked, TomKat may reload it for ya. But it would not be at PPU prices.
