    I was just reading a article and it says to control coyote population don't shoot the mature ones. They keep the younger ones in check and when a dominant pair is killed then the younger ones just start to breed like crazy till a new dominant pair is established again.

    I usually don't start hunting in earnest until late October and I will continue hunting deer til January 31st.

    Thanks to Outrider58 for hooking me up with the harness for my first treestand and giving me pointers.

    I just got MY own new-to-me compound bow in yesterday from my cousin out in NM. Very excited for this season but I'll wait til it get's cooler. Meanwhile practice...if you know where I could find a nice 40-50# bow to practice with let me know! thanks.
