How is this possible? Most permits are taking about 2 months from accepted to approved. Mine was submitted 11/15 and accepted on 11/23. Are you sure those dates are correct?

I have a slight advantage, but regardless it shows they can process them in that time frame.

And yes the dates are correct.

I’m not seeing that noted in this thread. How come? How long is that generally taking?

some do not get that notification at all so do not count on it, just watch what is being approved on a given day and that approval date and project from there

I think that is standard pre bruen language. The next step is to monitor for NICS number typically 45-55 days from acceptance once you get that the final disposition is typically 5-10 days later.

Look at the 2nd post in this thread for an example of what did and did not happen and that was a long time ago. things have been evolving and you would have to read all almost 9,000 posts to fully understand all the changes, some became standard some did not. No doubt the changes are not over and eventually the computer programs will be updated to reflect the actual process. Until then keep reading the posts and compare your progress with the others who have entered the system at about the same time you did. So far most people have eventually gotten their permits without issue. Looks like at the present time you should expect to be approved about 60 days after your application is Accepted and allow about a week more for the mail to deliver the actual permit to you.

Mine was accepted 10/28 and I just got my NICS 12/13. I think you’ll get NICS by end of the week or mid next week.
