Go into the portal and hit print. You will see the actual permit number. The number above is your application number.
The permit number has a dash and should be in the 200k range.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I already have my HQL and I already purchased my first firearm, so just waiting to get approved to carry it

Like others, my said ready for investigation and now has gone back to Application accepted. Based on the dates it seams like my being accepted and getting a NICS # is happening faster than others. Hopefully this means wait times are decreasing.

I emailed the MSP about it yesterday, here is their response.


"Please understand that MSP has up to 90 days to complete the wear and carry application review. Your application was accepted 3/20/2024 (email sent) and is processing normally. You will be contacted via email when final disposition has been made. Thank you for your patience in this matter."

So I guess I need to chill out.

yeah, I shouldn’t have that long then beginning as though I was accepted 3/1 it might be this week or next
