Earlier today I noticed that one of the two pins that hold the fire control group in place had come out a bit. I realigned it and seated it again. Went to the range and the same thing happened. Any ideas whats going on? Looks like the pin likes to get pushed out leftward until the right side gets unseated from the lower then it stops. I assume tension from the springs and the fact it gets angled a bit keeps it from moving, but why is it coming loose to begin with? AR has ~750 rounds through it. Lower kit is PSA, lower is engage billet.

They have those anti move things for the pins now. Cant remember what they call them. Most AR parts places sell them

The likely culprit is your hammer spring is installed upside down.

If that's correct though and it's still doing it, then order some anit-walk pins like Indy suggested.

Buy a Geissele, their supplied pins are just a hair larger than standard FCG pins.

Although something like the KNS pins are definitely a cheaper alternative.

    Kns anti-walk pins.

Having said that, double check your assembly of the lower before throwing more money at it. The pins should not be so easily moved.

You shouldn't need anti-walk pins for semi-auto fire; they're more or less insurance. The pins are nice though, and are simple to install.

I found some pictures to help you out. Here's how the hammer spring should be and should not be:

    Installed Installed incorrectly, upside down
