I am sure that THEY don't want this. Could you imagine thousands in person and tens of thousands online crashing their dial up internet at the Legislative Building? Bring it folks...

What if you don't have a computer, video camera or high-speed connection? The old fashioned way is the best way. If you can't send in written testimony or show up, you don't care.

Nothing has the impact like thousands of people showing up in person

    They figure two things.

    1. Keep the people out of Annapolis so a big pro 2A crowd is not seen.
    2. They can have all the fu*kfaces from MoCo, Balto and PG testify online like they are the only one's.

Don't let them do it. There is NOTHING like people who show up en masse at an event or hearing. There is no denying that thousands of people were there to support/protest whereas they can always 'say' nobody supported/protested the measure during the internet debate.

Likely would be an effort to reduce the number of people showing up in person. If you're not there, you can't be on the 6 oclock news. Flash, we held hearings and no one showed up. **** em, I'm going no matter.

That's the only way they can get anyone to speak on their side. Fakes!

I was in no way advocating staying home instead of going. Just thought that for those that can't get away it would be another way to contribute. It would be an even bigger story if 4+ thousand showed up in person and another 10+ thousand crashed their system at the same time. That would definitely make the news!

This is so the lazy slackers on their side can get some air time. Do you really think they did this to help us?
