current ATF wait time

My check was cashed March 25th .... Got the call today that my stamp showed up at the shop.

Don't feel bad. 11 months and still waiting. I checked with BATFE in late November and was told mid February. Everything was submitted on a trust mid March 2013.

NFA Tracker places things at about 330 days right now - aka 11 months. If the gov't shutdown didn't happen, that would be about 30 days different...but my stamps are looking like they will be months out still. [Sigh]

The good things is - you are about to receive your stamps!

Well it looks like I'll be making the trip to timonium first thing tomorrow morning. Took about 11 months but the first two stamps for a ruger AC556 and a suppressor just came through today!

Congrats! What can did you get for the AC556?

The can is a surefire socom 7.62 for my LMT 308. The paperwork was just submitted with the ruger because I was waiting for my trust to be drafted. I actually had about a 15 month wait for the suppressor between waiting for the trust and the BATFE.

Sent in Form 4 on a Trust for a SBS. Will have to wait till fall I guess.

Still pending are 3 SBR stamps.

I've done a couple thru Cont Arms. Found them to be very efficient.
Have 2 cans in thru Engage on a new trust. Submitted 9/8/13, guess I'm in for a long wait. Best prices I've found on cans BTW. And very efficient and accommodating also. MGs have gone up quite a bit the last 3 years but have also had times of significant down turns, lock the stock mkt., so nothing is a lock. Except cans, they are a loss from day one but fun.
Someone on another forum said you don't really buy MGs but rent them and then feed them and someday hope to get enough back to pay for the gun and food.

Continental isn't the problem with my lengthy transfer. It is the ATF. I can't understand how we go pending on the same day but you get yours at least two weeks before I do. What is their method?

I don't keep track of my dates and cant remember if I submitted all three of my stamps together or not but two Form 1s came back today. Hopefully, my Form 4 is at my dealers this week.
