Due to the rash of child abductions in playgrounds, the State of MD has now decreed that it will be illegal for anyone over the age of 17 to come within 500 yds of a playground without a permit unless that person is employed in the maintenance crew of that playground or in Law Enforcement in the course of his or her duties.

Permits will be issued based on a "May-Issue" basis. Watching over your child, who happens to be in the playground, is not a "good and substantial reason". After all, you could be a child molestor yourself! You must drop off your child at least 500 yards from the playground. To apply for a "permit to enter playground", you must produce at least 3 documented cases of your child being abducted, threatened, raped or killed by a molester and submit a $300 non-refundable application fee. Approval is not guaranteed. Of course, law enforcement, high-ranking members of the Democratic Party, and those who carry large amounts of cash are automatically exempt for this requirement. Any adult in a playground will be required to show their permit upon demand by law enforcement.

If you live within 500 yds of the playground, you house will be taken via eminent domain and used to house recovering crack addicts from the inner city.

    Welcome to MD!
