I'll take the heavier round thats slightly better at longer ranges as well as better penetration
If you're just buying ammo to plink at the range or just in case your neighbors poodle goes rabid one day then does it really matter what you buy?

It's well documented IMHO that as long as M193 is going >2700fps then it will fragment pretty often, and M855 is just less likely to fragment.
If you are target shooting, then it doesn't matter. That's what I have Wolf and cheap FMJ for.
