I was a glock hold out. Why the F would I want a plastic gun. I saw the light in 2012. Now I own more than 1. I am hard headed and stupid at times
Glock Postol Issues...
couldn't help it.
No, it would make them a piece of lady's jewelry.

I just hope I don't develop a lisp.

Hell, I had no idea you had a lisp. Sorry.Apparently it doesn't stop trolling...
Other than shearing the slide release pin in half, through no fault of my own, I love a Gen 3. It goes bang, every time I use the booger hook properly. Added bonus is that mine is an LE Trade In.
It was just ahead of its time. Ugly. No doubt about that. but the SW MP wins uglier.

It was the top pin (smaller diameter). It kept popping up and engaging the slide release, while firing the pistol. I stripped it down and inspected it before purchase and the closest I can figure is no more than 250 rounds, if that many. You mean the trigger pin or the locking block pin, but that is another story. It's an LE trade in...in .40 I bet, huh? .40 is extremely hard on those guns. There are a number of reasons the FBI is going back to 9mm.
In terms of your problem, there's no way of knowing how many rounds were through it or what kind of maintenance was done. All department armorers or maintenance programs are not created equal. Then there's the guys that are issued the piece and what they do to it. Like prying on the trigger pin because they don't know how to properly disassemble the pistol. You see the same thing with gouged up slide cover plates. I've never heard of a trigger or locking block pin shearing, but that is the downside of getting a pistol with unknown history.

Straighter than any Glock owner would know about. Good job with a post that you knew would draw differing opinions than acting offended. Now I have number three.Oh... I do not have a lisp but your constant derogatory reference via sexist and other offensive innuendo about ladies and gays in this thread is showing a lot about you. Just how straight DO you shoot.
I never pulled it, so the shear isn't on me.That sounds like an incorrectly installed slide stop lever... I have seen it happen when folks pull the pin and do not get the lever and spring re-installed properly.
