Info or suggestions about Pedersoli kits

I'm looking into getting one of the black powder pistol kits. Maybe a Philadelphia derringer kit. Has anyone made one or have any advice?

I made one from Dixie Gun Works years ago. It was a lot of fun. It's a good starter. Lots of filing, sanding, and polishing. A Dremel tool is a big help, but go slow.
