I just purchased an M&P 15 Sport and I'm thinking about aftermarket upgrades. Now, I'm new to AR's and didn't know there are piston driven and direct impingement. I'm looking at an NEA CCS PDW stock, but it says it won't work with Gas-Piston Uppers. So my question is...what is an M&P 15 Sport?

Direct Impingement just like the M&P 10. You should be good to go but not sure why it wont work this gas piston. A stock is a stock? You might want to call their customer support.

Because most gas-piston conversions use a modified BCG.

    M&P-15 is direct impingement, you're G2G OP.
