I finally got around to taking a picture of my pelican case. Bass Pro had it on sale a while back. My favorite rifle deserved a better home than the soft sided sleeve I had it in.
I should have, and would have if I owned such a device. I just used a very sharp steak knife and went slow. The hardest part was the area around the sling, because I didn't want to have to take it off every time.
I took it to Hap Baker over the weekend, and discovered that dinging "head shots" on the upper part of the bowling pins (hanging on pt 6 @ the 200) makes me giggle. They jump around much more with a headshot than hitting the main body.
The older rangemaster usually put out a bowling pin out at the 200 yard line for the 2 middle lanes and it is 100% good fun shooting it with a .223 or .308
