10th??? We used to be #2 right after New Jersey. What happened?

New Jersey is actually ranked as the least corrupt (or lowest corruption risk). The web site states "In a state with a reputation for government corruption, reform-minded leaders have passed some of the nation’s toughest ethics laws."

Right - the same reasoning that Chicago gets an "A+" on gun control from some groups. Never mind the fact that it's one of the deadliest and most violent cities in the U.S. - "they have great laws!"

Honestly, the fact that N.J. even ranks anywhere near the "best" in this "study", makes it not simply dubious - but laughable. That NJ is actually ranked #1 makes it nothing less than a complete joke.
