"Legitimate" is not a word one would use when referring to MoCo's deliberate insult to SCOTUS and MD's permit holders. Is this just petty delay tactics or do they have a legitimate complaint?

IMHO, they are trying to relitigate the relief ordered in the opinion because the opinion was so bad for them that they can’t just accept the loss.Is this just petty delay tactics or do they have a legitimate complaint?
I'm hoping they don't stop, and eventuallt get cited for contempt for flouting the Court's order. Which, if they do, they'll publicize and brag about.Sounds like MoCo is stomping their feet and whining because they didn’t get their way. They may not stop until they get stomped by a court so bad the county attorney tells them to give it up.
And then they’ll try some other county ordnance worded differently but the same intent…and claim it’s legally defensible. After all…it’s not their money they’re wasting.
I hope the judge agrees wirh youIMHO, they are trying to relitigate the relief ordered in the opinion because the opinion was so bad for them that they can’t just accept the loss.
That is awesomeIMHO, they are trying to relitigate the relief ordered in the opinion because the opinion was so bad for them that they can’t just accept the loss.
Give them nothing and call it a compromise.IMHO, they are trying to relitigate the relief ordered in the opinion because the opinion was so bad for them that they can’t just accept the loss.
Is there some point in time when, absent an effort by MoCo, you propose your draft order to the court for their consideration?IMHO, they are trying to relitigate the relief ordered in the opinion because the opinion was so bad for them that they can’t just accept the loss.
My understanding is that's exactly what MSI did.Is there some point in time when, absent an effort by MoCo, you propose your draft order to the court for their consideration?
Yeesh. Probably couldn't expect anything else out of them, unfortunately.IMHO, they are trying to relitigate the relief ordered in the opinion because the opinion was so bad for them that they can’t just accept the loss.
Thanks so much for all you do Mark. Do we know what is currently legal now as far as carry goes in MoCo?IMHO, they are trying to relitigate the relief ordered in the opinion because the opinion was so bad for them that they can’t just accept the loss.

The legal answer is until the court order actually comes out, still a no go.Thanks so much for all you do Mark. Do we know what is currently legal now as far as carry goes in MoCo?
Right. The draft orders accompanied the motion. My understanding is that's exactly what MSI did.
both answers are correct. The legal answer is until the court order actually comes out, still a no go.
The real answer is they would be stupid to try to arrest someone knowing they lost. Would be a nice payday in the long run.
Montgomery County needs a spanking so bad their butts will be sore for years
