I own a Leatherman Crunch, it is an amazing piece of engineering but I still prefer my Victorinox Swiss Tool. I think Leatherman has slipped in quality over the last few years.

I've been carrying a Leatherman Surge every day for about maybe 4 years now, no problems whatsoever. I don't think I can say the same about countless Gerber tools that various friends have gone through (not that Gerber isn't still a great value!)
