Really nice relics you have there guys! Arisaka rifles are in a class of their own. They are very cool to research. And a ton of fun to shoot!
My Nagoya T-99 (1939-4O) and Mukden T-38 (probably same time period) were inexpensive years ago. Sadly their mums were defaced and both had been refinished, but I bought them to shoot. Both are accurate and always make us smile.
It would be a shame to make Arisaka’s into safe queens. Check them out for safety and reload ammo for them! Components can be found and both 7.7 & 6.5 Jap round are easy to build. I do recommend neck sizing your brass. With only two rifles to feed, no problem for my bench.
