New upper build

I found that shooting .22 through my 5.56 uppers was a pain the ass because of how dirty they would get and I wasnt sure how bad the gas tube would be after a while..sooooo I finally built an upper!

DPMS SBR lower
YHM upper
YHM Spectre length FFrail
5.5 barrel
YHM SS Phantom
MI BUIS

I am working on getting a dedicated can for this as money allows. I use this can on occasion when I have to due to noise. Also. the mag is a clear skinny BDM that I masked with an old Thermold mag that I had laying around. Looks a little long but better than the skinny mag hanging out the bottom, it ruined the look. I'm on the hunt for smoked 27 rounders.

Yes they do but I am having trouble locating them. I refuse to buy the 10 rd full size mags and we cant get the 27 rdrs shipped here..I hope to find one or two at York next weekend.

If you can find the old-style (full size) 10rd BDM mags, it is trivial to drive to VA or DE and convert them to full 26rd capacity. The current generation 10rd BDM mags are smaller and can only be opened up to 15rd capacity.

I just like the feel. The rubber does give a little more grip.

I do have a buddy who lives in PA but I dont get to see him much. It would be a pain in the ass to get them from him. I will look into it though.
