That is a good point but sadly those that wake up are being offset by the college educated white females.

I've noticed the same thing. Gun laws seem to be an obsession with the 70+ leaders of the Left, but much less of a priority with younger people.

I've never quite understood the Black support for Dems. They were the party of slavery, and the Republicans formed the so-called Solid South for decades after the Civil War.

It's disheartening to think that all that was changed when LBJ gave them the Free Lunch, in trade for the formerly strong Black family. That does seem to have been the turning point, though. The well-meaning Liberals failed to see that their affirmative policies were being used against their true goals, unleashing an era of reverse injustice that continues into the present.

I saw this working a gun show in Arlington last year. It was a lot of fun talking to the “non-traditional” permit holders. These ladies were buying some guns, too. They were educated, motivated, and a pleasure to deal with.

I told him discrimination is part of life...his employer discriminated against other candidates in his favor when they hired him. I told him he discriminated against all other women of whatever color and religion when he married our daughter. He said those aren't the same thing...I replied they're exactly the same thing outside of being socially and legally acceptable forms of discrimination how are they not? He just got frustrated.

This is more like the SF law passed post-Heller. Either you have it on your person or it's in a safe. SCOTUS booted the case, so it's still up in the air at the moment.

My wife and I are from NY. We were in MD for a bit, now TN…. Long story but anyway, we were recently on a trip, I was in swim trunks or shirtless so I just put my micro 9 in her little purse backpack she carries around. After about a week of that, she was pretty sad to have to give back the pistol and now “needs” her own. It’s not hard to get a middle aged white woman with no “need” to carry a firearm to understand its benefit.

I had a black female patient file a complaint against me once because I used the words “discriminate” in discussing lab values in making a diagnosis.

Seems I was “insensitive” to the “racist” intent inherent in the word as a typical middle aged white guy and owed her an apology or something.

HR/patient representative dutifully rewrote her screed (which by all appearances was written by a first grader in crayon - I saw the original copy in a lawsuit stemming from that patient rep’s continued harassment) and presented it to the hospital commander who crumpled it up and tossed it in her waste paper bin after we discussed it.

HR rep slipped a copy into my CREDENTIALING packet as well as my personnel folder which is a good thing, it kept me from taking a job with Johns Hopkins in 2006.
