Seems strange so many people expressed interest in this match last year and now all I hear are crickets.....

It's a fun shoot. You get to shoot in the shoot houses which is a different environment for most shooters. The stages are challenging, but give you a chance to use a different skill set.

It is a haul getting to NC from here, much less Maryland. It's worth the drive, though. The Blackwater guys put on an awesome match from what I've heard!

It's a 4 hour drive for 2 days of shooting.
Not too bad by sanctioned match standards.

Blackwater (now known as US Training Center) was a blast. Some of the shooters had cameras, and here is some of the footage from 2 out of the 10 stages

It is not a bad drive. I shoot this every year and we leave on Friday mid-day from Charles Co. Maryland and drive about 3 hours to Cheasapeake, Va. - get a hotel, and then drive the last 40 minutes or so to Moyock the next morning before the match. It breaks up the drive and there is a lot of restaurants/bars in Cheasapeake.
The match is great too. They do a great job and it is different than anything else.
