Osprey scopes? Any good?

I am thinking about geting an osprey scope for my remington 700 at the timonium gun show this weekend. They wont break the bank and seem pretty good suposedly used by the military. Can anyone give me some info on this scope? Thanks

I had never heard of them either, so I googled them. The general gist of what I found is that the suck.

In general, optics are a "get what you pay" item.

What do you plan to use the 700 for? The group would love to help you spend your money

Im eventualy planning to use my 700 for f class shooting. Can any one recomend a scope? Im planning to go to timmonium tommorow anything there?

At that pricepoint I would look at the Super Sniper 10x or maybe the Bushnell 3200 10x. Both are fixed power and have the adjustment you'll need. I dont have any experience with them myself, but they get good reviews. I would pick the Super Sniper over the Bushnell.

BSA makes nice optics at good prices. The Platinum Target has an 1-8 in target dot.
