Anyone ever use these? How are they? I am thinking about building my first AR and it seems like the cheapest way to go. I dont want to go too cheap and have the gun not be reliable though. Any suggestions? Is it worth it? Anything you would change?

    Thanks,
    Chris

I bought a 16" Del-Ton rifle from Gun Connection a few years back. Nice carbine. No issues for me but I did get a new complete upper from Spikes that has a nice lightweight barrel. Yes, it is only a few ounces, but the MOE handguards feel better and the gun balances just a little better.

I did the "upgrade" because I could, not due to a need. I would buy their rifles again.

DTI is good. I would not consider them a SHTF rifle though.

    I know nothing about PSA's ar15 though.

The PSA's have a pretty good reputation and very good customer service. I've bought many parts from them in the past and never had any issues. Id pick PSA over Delton but don't have any personal experience with complete rifles to back that up.
