Cheaper than dirt will not allow me to buy a magazine extention for a glock magazine. Its a Plus 3. With the extention the Magazine will only be 13 Rounds.

They say its illegal in Maryland.:mad54:

Cheaper than dirt brought to you by the same jerks as Sportsmans Guide. I haven't had much luck with them, always seems to be lower quality that expected.

I called they will sell me + 2 but not any that will plus 3

That's ridiculous. The largest standard-size pistol magazine I know of is the 17-round mag for the Glock 17 in 9mm... with a 3 round extension that brings it to 20 rounds which is the max... and still legal!

I haven't bought anything from SG/CTD for quite a while. I get their catalog every month, and look at things I want and buy them elsewhere. Screw them.

    Subject: Re: Question

During the Clinton Assault Weapon Ban/10RD Mag Only Period 1994 - 2003, it was illegal to put extentions
on 10 round mags made during that time frame. That Federal Law expired in 2003 and does not exist any more. Maryland State Law says no magazines/feeding devices over 20 rounds will not be sold in Maryland. Glock 26 mags was designed by Glock to hold 10 rounds.

CTD is still following old policies.

    Order some place else.

They posted a restriction on their site saying they wouldn't sell 20 round HK G3 mags to Maryland. I sent them an e-mail and they contacted me two days later and indicated it had been corrected. Interesting that you are having problems.

ATF probably wouldn't care, since it's a Maryland regulation, not Federal; and besides, it's really easy to have stuff shipped to an out-of-state address if you have friends/family there who are willing to take a delivery for you.
