I'm thinking that a primer popped at sometime and is floating around in the trigger well. This will give the symptoms that you are describing.
i inspected the trigger well, never noticed any obstruction. Probably should have removed, inspected outside of the trigger well and reinstalled.

No reason your own gun can’t be shipped to you. I’ve sent suppressors off for work…shipped back to my front door.

They can hide in there. I shoot a lot of 300 BO supers and after a couple of reloadings, they will pop primers. Now I try to push the primer out by had to find the loose ones before I through them in the vibrator.

Shipped my AR Pistol back to Springfield Armory for repair of a trigger issue. As a MD resident, they will only ship to a FFL. When the FFL receives the repaired firearm, will I be required to redo 4473 & or 77R?

That's terrible. It's all because of this $#%$# state.

I agree. I just sent the reciever from my cz scorpion in for repair. It was the serialized portion. They shipped fed ex back to my house but I did have to be there to sign for it.

I recently sent my Shield back to Smith & Wesson, and they sent it back to me via FedEx with signature required without issue. I actually just sent a pistol to Springfield, and they said they would ship it back to me. At the time I arranged for the return, they said it would be returned via FedEx, and asked me if I would be home to sign for it. Upon confirming I would be, they said that was it/we were good to go.

I wonder if the "AR" in what you have is causing the issue? What did they say when you arranged for its return?

Actually in this case it's because Springfield is being stupid. The firearm can legally be shipped back to the OP. Whether or not they will do it is on them, not Maryland.
