Scoping a Mak 90

I have a Mak 90 that I am considering putting a lower power scope on, like a 1.5x5 Leupold. What type of mounts are available for this rifle. I does not have a rail like the later model AKs.

I'm sure others will chime in with better info, but you could drill and tap for a regular AK side mount which is probably the best option.

Or use one of the dust cover or rear sight rail thingies like this:

TWS is probably your best bet for that sort of scope. There are more options for red dots.
