Sig P6 Variant of P225 and Transfer

I am interested in ordering a Sig P6 off of gunbroker.

I am unsure of the year (maybe pre-85), but will find out Monday. If an IP considers the P6 to be a variant of the P225, let me know if you would be willing to do the transfer.

I've purchased a P6 in the state of Maryland before, it shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks. But before I commit to buying a p6 on gunbroker I just want to get a transfer dealer lined up.

I think it is all dependent on whether an FFL considers a p6 a variant of the P225.

You don't want them to consider it a variant, you want them to consider it a P225.
