Am I running a rick of rust or finish damage by storing my non-stainless blued finish pistols in their Bianchi accumold holster in my gun safe? Space is at a premium and I like how the holster protects the pistols. I have dessicant (SP?) bags in their to help with any moisture concerns.

    Thanks

how humid is the room in which you keep the safe? if it doesn't have standing water on the floor and you have adequate dessicant inside the safe for the space you are protecting, and you keep it charged, you are probably ok -- but check periodically until you've confirmed that. I assume you are applying proper hygiene (light coat of oil, etc...).

goldenrods are great. I also use a dehumidifier in my bunker in humid times... never had any problem.

My weapon safe is inside the house in climate controlled living space. I check the guns weekly but, sometimes monthly. I assume police leave their duty weapons in holsters but, they are taken out and inspected alot more often.
