Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered one with the recommended Bobro mount and throw lever. I am concerned the scope will be too heavy, but that price is hard to pass up considering how many positive reviews I have read about the scope. I wonder why they reduced the price? Is something new coming out in 2014? I wasn't sure how long reduced price is for so I just went ahead and ordered.

Holy crap. Glad I didn't wait. The price went back up to $999.95 at 5PM today.
