Old school precision circa 1958, .243 Winchester.
Mine too! Nice groundhog rifle. Now THAT tickles my fancy
Bartlein barrel (1:8 twist). Interesting enough, this was coupled together with a group of guys we shoot with often. I used one guy's reamer and the other guy has a lathe to do his own barrels. He isn't an official smith, just does his own stuff really.
John?
Finally found a great 308 after reading a bunch. Big thanks to Ed Shell for his amazing knowledge and answers to several of my questions. Thanks as well to Harry and crew at GunConnection
My humble submission to the thread is my Bergara B-14 HMR in 308. Harry set me up with a Vortex Viper PST 5-25 in badger rings and mount. Can’t wait to take it for a test drive soon.

Looks great brother. Let us know how it shoots.
Very nice. If she is half as good as she looks it will be a tack driver
Nice! I've heard good things about Bergara.
Posting as a parody to all the beautiful rifles on here, but here’s my Thompson Center Compass in 308, rattle canned and topped with a Vortex Viper 4-16x duplex reticle I got for a steal on Midway. All in I’m under $400.
Pictured is the first 3 shot group I took with it after zeroing out of the box at 100 yards off of a sand bag. This was with Federal 150gr Power-Shok no less.
If it shoots, it shoots. That's what matters. And let's be fair - sometimes it ain't the rifle.Posting as a parody to all the beautiful rifles on here, but here’s my Thompson Center Compass in 308, rattle canned and topped with a Vortex Viper 4-16x duplex reticle I got for a steal on Midway.
