    It isn't unheard of to have practiced or used an A1 in the last 10 years or so. I used one for a bit at basic (Ft Benning 2002). I had an A2 when I got to my unit. Never got an M4, I think many support units still carry A2s

    Jealous. I will have one someday... maybe around Christmas. :D I'm only putting the CarrierComp tube and compliance parts in mine once I bag one, I like the fixed stock.

    Jury is still out but I had a hell of a time killing cans with a flat of cheap walmart birdshot and a Saiga 12, folding stock, with a 20rd drum.

    My most favorite 2 guns were a Thompson full auto machine gun with round magazine and #2 was a full auto AK47. both were fun to shoot.

    A M109. Technically it's a howitzer but to me it'll always be a single shot pseudo-percussion rifle. :)
