I am building an AR pistol and just built my first lower today and now I need to decide which buffer tube and buffer to buy.

I and looking to get a RedX arms 7.5in upper and I would like to have a short of buffer tube as possible.

    Thanks

Whatever buffer you buy, make sure that it fits the Sig SB15 arm brace. I've heard that the Phase 5 buffer tube is a tight fit, but works well.

I used the KAK buffer tube on my pistol build. Make specifically for the Sig arm brace. I had to install a H3 buffer with a extra strength spring to slow down the action. It runs great now. (7.5" barrel)

Very happy with it. Good luck!

+1 on KAK. I opted for the sb15 super tube, the one with a castle nut. Works wonderfully with the sig brace. No movement was a huge factor in my decision between this and the rock river.

I built my pistol using a Red X 7.5 upper and it works great with a PSA pistol buffer assembly. I also have a Sig brace on it and it fits very well.
