    Looks like an abortion, as my DI used to say about such things back in the dark ages.
    It is a marketing gimmick, since the Colt series of snake guns seems to getting a resurgence in popularity.

    If you want to tacticool a Python, you can just buy this for $250 and do it to your own.

    However, it'll never compare to the OG: the S&W R8. This example is chambered in 9mm.

    While it's not for me and the execution with the screws looks aliexpressish, it would probably be decent for competition.
    Mostly worthless for competition with the optic and the compensator. USPSA and IDPA are irons-only. It might be usable for ICORE, but my gut feeling is that those guys would be running S&Ws due to the parts and tuning situation.

    I run the previously-shown R8 at outlaw matches and night vision shoots. Otherwise, it's a toy.
