This is definitely targeted to the novice:

The video shows leaving a gun in a gun case in the closet, unloaded with a full magazine and the time that it takes to open the case, put in the mag, and rack the slide (13 seconds) vs. leaving the gun in a gun vault 4 button gun safe in a dresser drawer and doing the same (10 seconds)

I'm guessing that they're encouraging people to use gun safes for 'go to' pistols.

Saw some of it on-air this weekend (mornings), and some in-studio examples.

Looks like they are trying to play this completely down the middle. Unfortunately, from this hint, it's not very helpful... other than to sell safes.

While that's not necessarily a bad thing, I hope they get more into training, teaching, and awareness.
