    Appearance-wise the Enfield is very nice, but the muzzle swallows a bullet and the bolt easily closes on an impromptu field gage. I chose not to close the sale because I'm still learning. Thought you should be aware of this going in.

    The question was answered using a professional gauge and the Enfield headspace is within spec, and the muzzle does not swallow a round in a common method to quickly check. I have added additional pictures confirming such.

    The same impromptu field gage would not close in my No. 4. I don't think it's unreasonable to not close the deal based on what I saw.
