Bad comms, too much hassle.
User submitted offer to classified ad http://www.mdshooters.com/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=3533 on 08/12/10. Indicated he would take the item but would not be available to pick up until the following week. I accepted offer. User indicated it would be best to continue discussing via his email address. On 08/13/10 I emailed user and stated I had a meetup with another user pending and if he would meet me at the same time and place it would benefit me from not having to make two trips. On 08/13/10 he replied via email a thank you and that he would get in touch with me by that Thursday, also agreeing via PM he would meet me once I had a solid date/time for the other meetup. On 08/16/10 I emailed the user stating that the other deal that was pending with another user was completed early out of schedule and that I would be in his local area the next day if it was more convenient for him to meet me. He replied on 08/16/10 that he would go over his schedule and reply to me that night once he knew for sure if he would be able to meet with me.
He did not reply until the mid afternoon of 08/17/10 stating he did not have time to meet with me and that he would send payment plus shipping to my pay pal account. Although I had already told user I did not accept Pay Pal payments via PM... I replied and told him again via email... I would only accept a postal money order or personal check and supplied my mailing address. User replied 08/17/10 that he was not willing to send payment via postal money order or personal check, and that he would meet me on Saturday pending good weather. I replied agreeing on 08/17/10. On the day of 08/21/10 (Sat) I emailed the user around 3am to check in and state that I was looking forward to meeting with him that day seeing that the weather was going to be nice... also stating that once again I would be in his local area that morning around 10-11am if it would be easier for him to meet me instead of driving all the way to my local area. As of 08/22/10 I have had no further communication from the user via PM/email/postal mail/ or phone. At this point I feel as though I have wasted enough time trying to make arrangements and hold the item for the user and several other users have offered to purchase the item, which I have all told up until now the item was SPF to this user. All emails referenced in the complaint will be held by me to be reviewed by admin if necessary.
