I am going to get ready to start a 300 Blackout SBR soon and I was wondering what twist rate is recommended for a 10'' approx. barrel?

    Thanks

1:7 or 1:8. If you plan on shooting mainly heavy (220 grain +) subsonic rounds, the 1:7 will stabilize a little better. 1:8 is generally good up to 220 grain or so.

ETA: SAAMI recommends 1:8, AAC recommends 1:7. Either will stabilize a pretty wide range of bullets (both subs and supers). I wouldn't go any slower unless you are sure you're only going to be shooting mainly lighter/supersonic rounds. But if that was the case, I wouldn't buy a rifle chambered in 300BLK.

I have both a 12.2" and 8.2" both work great suppressed/unsurpassed. Do yourself a favor and get an adjustible gas block as they tend to be over gassed supersonic.

Ares armor has their 300 1/7 half price right now i believe

Yeah, think the sale is still going on. I bought a 9 inch (using a pig tail gas tube) from them. Hasn't shipped yet. They have cheap shipping but a weird fulfillment policy. (it ships when it ships basically)
