Though there's a long list of what they MIGHT be up to, we should look first at the painfully obvious (based on Liberal Orthodoxy).

1 - Restrict sales, while saying you're allowing them. Remember, Shrillary says 40% of sales include gun shows, so half the time to buy means half the deaths!

2 - Guns are useless without ammo, and if they disallow ammo sales, people are just buying clubs. I mean, really... Who actually buys ammo anywhere but gun shows?!! It's not like folks just have thousands of rounds just laying about...

3 - If we can just piss them off a little, they'll stay home and sulk, then we can slowly tighten the noose and eliminate ALL gun shows. Then, we can finally get more restrictions through the GA.

It's pretty transparent if you think about it.

Tough call on this ^^^ one as to what the fvck is going to happen but at this point nothing will surprise me with this show. John advertised the show as a two day show, Saturday October 24th 9 to 5 and Sunday October 25th 9 to 3 and one of the several major things to be there will be ammo with the table fees being $55.00 each as per his paper flyers. I'm going to say most likely he's really pissed at what PG is doing to him and the show which didn't surprise me in the least. Today one of my customers checked his website and apparently he just changed the show dateS to the show day of Saturday 10/24 ONLY and didn't make mention of the NO LIVE AMMO restriction.

Your customer is correct. I checked the web page about an hour ago and it listed it as Saturday, 9-5. Made no mention of the Sunday cancellation, nor did it mention the "no ammo sales" change. My guess, the no ammo notice would kill his profits, so he's not going to mention it. Either that or he's still trying to work out a deal with PG county on the ammo restrictions.

Even if he would try to sell from the street, I believe he would need a hucksters license. Probably nothing more he could do but turn around and head home.

What about an individual walking around with a $100 brick of 22 for sale, turned at the door?
Sticky situation for the promoter, advertise a gun show "no ammo" = little turnout.
Advertise Gunshow and people get quite upset once they pay to find out no ammo.
Has there ever been a gun show with "no ammo" that PG may be getting info from?

Can't wait to hear what restrictions will be proposed...

It's my understanding that the Park Police (PG) will have a new set of written rules/guidelines that'll be completed by the end of September (this month) and be available to the promoter by October 1st.

    Any updates?

I have no updates except the following. The show will be at the said location and the last weekend of October as advertised. I (Shooters Discount) will NOT be attending this show due to conflict of scheduled plans for that weekend.

Still interested in hearing what new ninny-compatible rules MNCPPC will be imposing.

Oh I'm sure we should be getting some sorta' feedback on this ^^^ before the end'a'da' month.

I dare not say what I think they'll try, lest I give someone ideas.

But, I'd give even money that at least one of the new crap items won't mesh with actual law.

The "no live ammo" per PG is not a law, it's a restriction place upon the promoter to have a gun show there.

IIRC, there was a gunshow in Allentown PA that had a rule imposed upon them (the promoter) by the venue to not allow any ammo for sale (trade, dispose, transfer in any capacity).

It's not just the "no ammo" thing, but also think of those that read the "OLD advertisements" for the show (Saturday AND SUNDAY) and arrive on Sunday without the updated knowledge of the ultra recent schedule change.

Any first hand report from the show?

you mean the one next weekend?:innocent0

LOL, bitch getting old! Dang and double dang.

    yep the show next week.

Check back here next weekend and I'm sure as shit positive there will be ALL SORTA' UPDATES available for you to read. Yeah, it sucks gettin' old; that reminds me, I couldn't r'member if I wiped or not, better go check.:party29::lol::lol2::rofl:

Same here as y'all don't know that according to John Appalachain in conversation with me a few months ago, the Showplace Arena people contacted HIM to invite him to do the show there, not the other way around. That sounds very strange to me though it's possible a li'l tweety bird I know may have had something to do with it.

Sorta' makin' me wonder 'bout that too; a LIBTARD MEDIA FEEDIN' FRENZY trap.
    :party29:

Beings it's public knowledge now, yeah, I knew about it for awhile (2 to 3 months now) and will await further details to come as time passes as was indicated by me to John (Appalachain). At the time John approached me about this matter, he has NOT been to the venue to preview it nor had any real idea of the capabilities that venue has. I suspect it'll not be the same as when Frank (Silverado) had it for a number of reasons.
    :party29:
Take note to the capitalized phrase within the asterisks.

NO!!! Instead all should wear the "I DIN DOO NUFFIN'S" t-shirt.:lol2::lol2::thumbsup::party29:

As of 10/02/15, as per conversation with John, IIRC he hasn't physically been to that location as of that date and doesn't know of anything yet, hasn't really read or signed anything yet as to how things are going to be handled such as show rules per PG.

My help will be totally responsible and commencing a move of their company (firm) from one location to another that weekend. This is the sole reason why Shooters Discount is not doing the show and we informed John and/or Eric of such. Actually my help really wants to do the show but because of his firm's move, is unable to do so.

Yeah, it'll be interesting. I'll prolly be missing out on'na' good opportunity to tell those PG assholes to go shove their made-up so-called rules up their asses because it's almost certain that some or a lot of them will not be inline with local, state, and federal laws. If in the event that the stipulations are just the local, state, and federal laws, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Not really, there have been others involved (not me) in this and I'm just the messenger here, be it the information right or wrong. As per John, he indicated that he'll set it up that the vendors can drive in to their tables for set up unloading and pack out loading. Again, I'm just the messenger.
    :party29:
Well dude, looks like your hearsay went outta'da' window here. Like I summarized earlier in this thread, there are things that are goin' to come down regarding this show that many people won't like. The ammo prohibition thing doesn't surprise me one bit but what is the "one day only" show stuff about.
    :party29:
John (Appalachian) indicated to me that this show was for the weekend, 10/24 & 10/25 back in June and again earlier this month (October). I'd say he's pretty pissed off about this shit of no ammo allowed and it being only a one day show now. I wonder who, or what group of people are behind this???!!! Considering both of these negative factors in place now (plus whatever else that might/gonna' come down), I'm glad my help wasn't able to make it this weekend, hence Shooters Discount is not attending this show.
    :party29:
I think you made your educational guess in the other PG thread and I'd say most likely you're right.

I was planning to be there but no sure now. Several reasons: No ammo, Political climate being we only sell stuff for evil black guns, probably can't get my 40 foot trailer down the ramp, limited help because Morgan's grandmother's funeral is that weekend, Sat only show, etc.

I can see a lot of vendors not showing up for a 1 day show. If they cut the show dates in half, did they cut the price of each table in half for the vendors? If not, then I wouldn't sell there.

Screw PG county and everything associated with them.

I wish the firearm industry would grow a set and stop selling to unfriendly states, counties and cities.

In order to help try to make this show work and as a favor to John for some favors he has done for me, we will be there. Looking for volunteers to help with load in and load out in exchange for ammo :innocent0 since I seriously doubt I can get my 40 foot trailer down that ramp and make a 90 degree turn for the second ramp! Seriously though if anyone wants to help, text me at 240-217-6875 for details on when. It means carting all our stuff down the ramp to our tables, getting back out is going to be a pain!!!

    No live ammo reallllly sux!!

But we will have a lot of Hbar Rifles, Lowers, and Uppers for sale.

Is he cutting the prices for the tables? He can't be charging the same price he would for a 2 day show. That's just not fair.

If he charged a set amount such as $55.00 per table for all three days for Friday set up (whatever the set up hours are), Saturday 7 AM dealers then open at 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 8 AM dealers then open 9 AM to 3 PM then pack and load out as per his actual advertising up to late last week, then the prices per table should be adjusted down to reflect the difference to the current show days/hours. If he had the tables priced at $55.00 per table and had advertised the show from the onset as a one day show open Saturday 9 to 5 with Friday being for set up, then it should stand at $55.00 per table.
