Great video. So it sounds like the only way to do a build is to buy a PSA KS47 Lower, upper, and BCG. Then you can add AR parts for the rest. Hopefully PSA doesn't cause heartache selling these lowers to Maryland.

Thank you sir, you are Correct! Now to see about the heartache part..... Just read that short barreled uppers and complete/stripped lowers should be here soon, but no exact eta.

I may regret buying one of these in the first run but I couldn't help myself. Definitely a nice rifle, had it next to the mutant, very similar in quality, the mutant had a nicer mag release and was a little heavier. Nothing worth the additional $600 though.

Obviously it will be getting a better buttstock and grip

Awesome! Where did you buy it?

Engage, less that PSA is asking and they knocked a few more bucks off (frequent customer).

Palmetto will probably be selling them for much less in a couple years but I like to support my local GS where possible.

No regrets. Great choice. I'm envious. I skipped the VZ2008, but the fit and finish of this one, milspec parts compatibility, price point for these features, lack of AK47 rifles available in MD, possibility of new bans in 2017, etc, are making the KS47 jump higher and higher on the want/need list.

Ha, I'm halfway there with funds. Maybe next month. This guy, a Colt 6721, and parts for uppers (or complete uppers, I have a lot of lowers from pre-FSA 2013) are highest on my list now. Then comes additional ammo, standard capacity mags, and maybe a couple more Glocks and a CZ Scorpion Evo carbine.

Ya it seems well put together and the configuration was almost exactly what I would have built. Skip the VZ at current pricing you can get a V58 for just a few bucks more (Engage has one of these too at a fair price).

I heavily vested in 7.62*39 so this makes sense (have several AKs, a Mini 30, VZ 2008, VZ58 and a few bolt guns)

Guess the next lever gun will need to wait.

Close up pics of inside the upper, the upper's interior dimensions and exterior dimensions are wider than a standard AR upper.

I'm thinking a lot about this rifle, one thing is that the receiver is marked "MULTI". One of the videos show the rep saying any other 7.62x39 would work on this gun. So, I wonder if a 5.45x39 upper would fit and run on it's lower.
