Sine Die has passed, but we're not out of the woods yet. Obviously there is next year, but this year MAY not be over.

My wife has been following a bill closely for her work (non 2A related), and there have been grumblings of Hogan opening up a Special Session to deal with the Gerrymandering bill. I believe everything else would still be on the table if that were to happen. So let's hold our breaths that we are in fact in the clear for 2019.

During a special session, the topic(s) that arise can only be limited to the particular extraordinary reason why it was called. In this case, Gerrymandering.

Thought you might like Jumping Jen's version of her overwhelming success in this session.

Shame how much time, money and effort by the Dems went into trying to pass bills that do nothing to stop the violent crime in Baltimore City.

Yep, but they got their bloomturd money just the same.

So when their study figures out how illegal guns are making it into the wrong hands, they’ll come to their senses and leave the law abiding folks alone.

Wonder if that was their original purpose ? To goat us into spending equal amounts of time and $$$ ....all for nothing ?

    :sarcasm:

They will come to the conclusion that criminals steal guns and sell them to other criminals. Sooooo.....if they make legal gun owners criminals, the problem is solved! :D

Jen's birthday was a couple of days ago. Her father, who is a longtime friend from our days in the fire department sent her good wishes on Facebook and stated how proud he was of his daughter. It included photos of her including one from Annapolis. I replied with the Ytube video of her testimony where she sold her parents out and then answered a Delegate who asked if they should have been arrested with a "Yes". I asked "Are you still proud?" He wasn't happy with my inquiry. For some reason, I can no longer access his page.

I'm actually shocked that this crap didn't get jammed down our throats, and it leaves me scratching my head trying to figure out why because I don't believe it was our efforts that got them shut down. The reason I think that is because it didn't make one lick of difference in 2013 when they foisted FSA2013 on us. We called, we emailed, we went to the Capitol, we protested, we testified, and it wasn't even close - they rammed that travesty through, and didn't even have the common courtesy to kiss us first.

There's got to be some other dealing going on under the table.

I thought the same thing. My best guess is that 2013 was personality driven. O'Malley and Frosh are both true, dyed in the wool gun control supporters. For a lot of folks it's party politics and they vote for what they're told, but it holds no special passion. For Frosh and MoM it was a major priority. The other stuff that went along with being a Dem was well and good, but they really love gun control, really don't like 2A supporters and put a lot of personal political capital into the effort.

I called out to him, "Mr. AG!", as he jaywalked to avoid us yesterday. He turned, looked, and then ducked behind a bus. I could see he peeked at us one more time as he got past the bus. Either he's a coward, or he had something better to do than talk with those who pay his salary.

This /\ /\ especially for that piece of Frosh. IMO, O’Maggot also had delusions of using it (fsa2013) as a platform to launch him to the White House and at the time couldn’t be shown up by Cuomo.

Au contraire, he is VERY attentive to his "owners". I guarantee Bloomturd has his undivided attention.
