i am not getting any 16 inch barrel, i would like a accurate 18 inch. And i missed out on the deal for the larue for 200 dollars off, slept on the deal and when i got up the guy emailed me and said it sold late lastnight. snooze ya lose right. I am just going to keep my eyes open for deals.

alright so i can piece everything together price wise, need to know what all exactly i will need to build my own upper, and what type of gas block to use say on a woa barrel. I think i would just go with a bcm upper receiver, the woa barrel with matched bolt, young or bcm carrier. I know i will need the gas tube but what other parts are needed, say to attach the barrel to the receiver and such.

I would use a lo-pro gas block and get a tube to fit over it. A Free Float tube will most likely come with a barrel nut. Muzzle brake and washer. Gas tube pin. Cam pin, Firing pin and retainer - if they don't come with the bolt or carrier. Port door, pin, spring and clip. Forward assist assembly and pin. Charging handle.

    Tools. Proper tools.

i know about the low pro gas block cause i was getting at least a 12 inch rail, but i see there is so many different types and heard the pin on ones are the best, but which ones do you guys recommend, the upper receiver i am looking at comes with the door, pin, spring and forwards assist, just needs the charging handle which i already have.

Unless you have the drills and reamers to do the job properly then I would go with a clamp-on vs set-screwed.

I like the Daniel Defence on Larue low pro gas blocks. Your handguard will come with the barrel nut assembly. The WOA SPR barrel will take a .750 gas block. Other than that you need a charging handle and whatever muzzle break or flash hider you choose.

for the matched bolt that comes with the barrel for 50 bucks, is that a good idea to get that and just say buy the carrier from bcm or somewhere else. Does that bolt come assembled and everything. And rifle or middy gas length

The matched bolt is mated to the barrel for optimum headspace and accuracy. That's why you whant one from the barrel maker.

This is the gold standard for Comps. PWS FSC556

I like mid-gas cuz it has the best pressure curve and you can hide it with a rifle length rail. Also if you like the look of a stainless muzzle device there is a stainless Vortex available that looks cool, but it's not a comp its a flash hider.
