This could be a bad show I talked to one vendor and he said they are charging them the same price to be there as a 2 day show and then add the set up /take down for one day it may have less vendors than normal.
Hey I am not knocking this show I am just say'in what I heard and will probably go myself.

its almost always a crappy show in Frederick. The only reason I go is for a change in scenery. There is rarely any deals going on.

QFT. Sometimes, you do get lucky, but MD shows as a whole are very, very bad. This time, I'm hoping to get lucky. I'm in the market for a used .357, an 870 police, and possibly an AK74. There's hope that one or more of these will not only be at the show, but will be available at a reasonable price.

If nothing else, $8 is cheaper than all of the gas and time it would cost for me to check all of the assorted gun shops at the show.

Shooters Discount usually has 870 police trade in's. I don't know about current stock though. They are always there.

In all honesty, Shooters Discount is one of the biggest reasons why I go to these shows - Mt. Airy is quite a long ways from where I live and it's tough for me to make the drive all the way up there just to browse and possibly buy. Besides, I go to gun shows for the sights, the small talk, and the people (and the inescapable smells associated with the Frederick show).

I will probably be there. Do you guys have a Shooter's Discount sign at your tables? I'll stop by and say hi.

Lord knows I'm not. I went through that phase, then I went to a PA show:lol2:

 Me, I went through the opposite phase: I bought truckloads of evil, bad, big magazines at PA shows, only to realize that I had to go back to MD to buy the bad, big, evil rifles.

BTW, anyone else notice that old school Colt 20-rounders (arguably the best magazine for an AR-series rifle) go for about the same price in PA? I might actually go shopping for a few more of those old dogs this weekend.
