The photo with the 1847 Walker reminded me of mine that's stored away...Colt Signature Edition 1847 Walker with case and accouterments. It's only been handled with cotton gloves.
Congrats on that new Python!!!! I have yet to see a 4.25" live and in the wild...lotsa pictures of them but not in person yet. I do plan on getting one at some point.
Berkeley springs trading post has several. Or at least they did yesterday.
Cost?
1499
Thats not hateful for a new Python, most scratched older ones are over that
I was happy with it prices are much higher on gunbroker. Continental arms in timonium was 2k more than I paid for one lmfao.

$1499 is MSRP. Either supply is finally meeting demand or the gun store believes in not adding "additional dealer profit" like car dealers do.
My last pickup of 2020...a new 4.25" Colt Python...the wood stocks which are beautifully and tightly fitted...
With Pachmayr Presentation grips that I really prefer...
With the 6" Python I picked up last January...
All my Pythons together...1960 nickel plated 6"...Royal Blue 1977 6"...2020 6"...Royal Blue 2.5"...4" Royal Coltguard (Electroless Nickel)...2020 4.25". This is probably the best gun porn I have in one photo...
