SOOOO expensive. I know that Vihtavuori powders are good, but are they really worth the asking price?
I've seen VV powders in stock elsewhere as well, and I think part of the reason they stay in stock is because people don't want to pay $45 for a pound.
I never even tried it prior to the shortage for the reason that it was that much more expensive. I figured that for the loading I do for pistol, the usual suspects - Unique, W231/HP38, Bullseye, Power Pistol, Longshot, 2400 - would get the job done and would cost a lot less.I agree, seems to be top $$ powder. I've been monitoring Grafs for LR & SR primers and saw these pop up. Figured I'd spread the word.
I was just at Artistic Edges in Leader Heights. Good selection of both pistol and rifle powers. Even had one pound of Varget. I bought one pound of
H335. Price with tax was $53. Not cheap, but I only wanted one pound. I also saw BLC-2 and several pounds of Titegroup. Other powders, also.
I used to go there quiet a bit when they had the old store and I was on the road a lot. I got a lot of good deals on used guns at that place.
