Typical, just recently got a TX 22 Competition (which seems okay so far) and Sig comes out with this. Looks like yet another 22 pistol in my future.
Sig will sell A LOT of these if the price point is just 400 bucks.
A buddy just picked one of these up. How is it? I've heard a decent amount of good about it, but can't get past the name lol
I don’t have a lot of rounds through it yet just one trip to the range with it approx 100 rounds shot to get a feel for it and adjust the sights. The trigger feel is different than what I am used to in my other 22 pistols (Ruger Mark II and Mark IV Lite) but obviously a different design. The more I shot the better the trigger felt as I acclimated to it and got a feel for the reset. I may get a Tandemkross trigger for it because it has a flat face and is adjustable for “pre and post travel”.
The accuracy was okay I was getting 2 to 3 inch groups at 10 yards (indoor range sitting on a range stool using a rubber block as a makeshift rest to get sighted in). The one concern is I did get 3 or 4 “stovepipe jams” during the range session. I only used one type of ammo (Federal Automatch) and only had one of the magazines with me to try. I don’t know if the jams were the fault of the gun, the ammo, or my shooting as I am okay but a long way from an expert pistol guy. I did do a quick clean and lube before the range session. I plan to clean and lube the gun and head back to the range with all 3 mags it shipped with and some additional brands of ammo to try to see if I can get it running with no jams.
Good to hear. I think my buddy wants to mostly shoot steel challenge with it, so pinpoint accuracy isn't a huge deal.
The stovepipes may just be the ejector breaking in, or there's some factory preservative still in there. I have decent reliability with the federal ammo in all my rimfires, just not the greatest accuracy lol.

I also did a quick “mag dump” at the end which also ran with no failure. I am pleased with the gun so far and enjoy shooting it. I have a Tandemkross Compensator and extractor coming for it and still may consider their trigger for it as well. Hope this info helps and your buddy is happy with his TX22 as well.
If you bought the Game Changer compensator, you will be very happy with it. I now have them on all my .22 pistols. They might be expensive but they work!

After experimenting, I found a process that works pretty well. I use a spray called Deep Creep made for Marine engines. I found that if I spray it on and leave it overnight and then shoot a mag or two of copper plated ammo, it tends to blow off the lead that built up from shooting. It doesn't make it brand new only dipping it over night in Shooters Choice lead remover does that, but it cleans a big chunk of it.I have a pro squared. Do you spray anything on it to make it clean easier? Occasionally it gets leaded up pretty bad and I have to soak it in bore cleaner and pretty much chip off the lead. I don’t have an ultrasonic cleaner which probably would make it easier.
The P322 is on the list for the next roster meeting... will be available by mid-late August depending on how fast the results hit the Register.
I suspect - but cannot prove - that it's a gun that was sent in for examination, as opposed to an "enhanced model addition".I saw the P322 is highlighted in yellow on the Roster Board agenda. What does the yellow highlighting mean?
I did buy one and it sits at my ffl until approval on roster.I hope you bought that!
I'm right there with you......mine has been in MD Roster Jail since April. Any word on the outcome of the MD Roster Board meeting? Did the Sig P322 get approved?I did buy one and it sits at my ffl until approval on roster.
